Bozhidarnik Victor Vladimirovich in 1970 graduated the State University named in honour of I. Franko in Lvov on a specialty "Mechanics". After the lifing of university was matriculate in postgraduate study, in 1974 defenced the candidate dissertation on physical and mathematical sciences. Since December 1973 – an assistant, a senior teacher, a associate professor, a head of department of technical mechanics, a dean of the general technical faculty of Lutsky branch of the Polytechnic Institute in Lvov, since June 1991 - President of Lutsky Industrial Institute, and since December 1997 - President of the Lutsky State Technical University, a chairman of an academic council of university, a chairman of the specialized academic council with the right to accept to consideration and to carry out protection of dissertations on reception of a scientific degree of Dr.Sci.Tech. on a speciality «Mechanics of the deformed firm body», chairman of regional council of President of higher educational institutions І - ІV levels of accreditation of the Volyn area.

His career as a head is closely connected to growth of an educational institution from branch of the Lvov Polytechnic Institute up to level of the Lutsky State Technical University.

Bozhidarnik V.V. is engaged in scientific and pedagogical activity, is the author of 8 textbooks and study guide, 5 monographs, 230 scientific works and 70 patents for inventions.

For the powerful contribution to a science he is elected by the full member of Academy of engineering sciences, an academician of Academy of economic cybernetics, a member - correspondent of Academy of management and business, an academician of the Academy of sciences of the higher school of Ukraine.

Bozhidarnik Victor Vladimirovich is awarded for diligent and creative work with awards: “For merits” III degrees, “For merits” II degrees, “the Sign on honour”; medals: “For a victory’, “Independence of Ukraine”, "Peter Mogila", the rank “the Honorary Figure of national education of Ukraine”, Dr.Sci.Tech., a professor.
