Komarnitsky Ivan Vasilievich was born on 10th June 1936 in Lopushantsy-Homintsy in Starosamborsky district of the Lvov area. In 1959 has left the Tank school in Ulianovsk. In 1979 – historical faculty of the State University in Lvov.

Since 1959 for 1988 served on different command-political posts in Group of the Soviet forces in Germany, Northern and Central groups of forces and Pricarpatsky military district. In 1988 has been exonerated in a stock in a rank of the lieutenant- colonel. For service in the Soviet Army he is awarded with 10 medals and an award "For service to the Native land" of the ІІІ degrees. Since 1999 works as a director of industrial-business concern "Ternopolyobltara".

He is married. Has one son. The citizen of Ukraine.

Member of the All Ukrainian party of spirituality and patriotism, ataman of Ternopol regional Cossack organization UPO URC, a director IBC "Ternopolyobltara", a general-major of URC.
