There were discussed the cooperation questions between the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks and the Central Cossack army of Russia.
One of the important questions was the question about carrying of the monument to the Cossack executioner Jacob Sverdlov from Poltava Shlyakh Street to the territory specially intended for the monuments of the Soviet totalitarian regime. At the instance of the Russian Cossacks the initiative letter was given to the Army ataman of the Central Cossack army of Russia Valery Nalimov. This letter will be read on February, 13th, 2010 on Bolshoi Kazachii Krug which will be held in the city of Belgorod. There is an opinion that the request for carrying of the monument will be supported not only by Cossacks of Belgorod, but also by Cossacks of the Central part of the Russian Federation.
The representatives of the Belgorod Russian Cossacks organisation “Central Cossack army” were Reshetov V.P., Shulgin S.Yu., Pedorich S.V., Tarasov A.I., Parshikov V.M. and Galishchev A.N. After that Russian and Ukrainian Cossacks, veterans of the war in Afghanistan, celebrated the Withdrawal of the Soviet troops from Afghanistan Day.
