Registered Cossacks of the Sumy regional staff walked in sacred places of Ukraine. The Velikobobritsky church (the Sumy Region, Krasnopolsky District) was the following stop, after departure in Baturin, where a liturgy on the occasion of the Sacred Trinity was carried out. Then URC representatives together with priesthood headed Religious procession in the tract "Obraz".

Religious procession ended with a holy-water church service, consecration of a Nicolay Chudotvorets’ spring and a new pool, and also it ended with blest meal.

Cossacks are not for the first time here. Last autumn the URC representatives of the regional staff were on the ceremony of the natural spring consecration which has a centuries-old history.

The sacred instruction is mentioned for the first time in documents of the end of XVІІІ century. Then these lands belonged to the Rokhmanovs. On a legend when their son was seriously ill, the miracle wood water helped him to get better. Rescued Rokhmanov took part in the Patriotic War in 1812 and became the adviser of the tsar. That’s why his grateful mother commanded to construct far from the spring a small chapel. During the clearing work of the spring it was found icon of Nikolay Chudotvorets. It was once or twice transferred to the local temple, but each time, by miracle, it appeared again near the spring. That’s why this place became sacred for believers. Local residents name the healing stream "obrazny" and bring here the icons. Uniqueness of the spring is in water; it does not freeze in winter and is always cool in summer.

Registered Cossacks pay big attention to spiritual life, thereby they confirm once again their wish to revive and enrich spirituality of the modern Ukrainian nation, to provide the strong base of healthy society and well-being of the sovereign state.
