Within the Cooperation agreement execution between UPО “Ukrainian Registered Cossacks” and the Austrian Public Organization “K - Zug-ХХ І” which is a part of the Austrian veteran association “Field marshal Radetsky” the Registered Cossacks delegation from Zakarpatie, UPO URC deputy hetman concerning international contacts head of the URC Hetman’s Administration in the Zakarpatie Region, Cossack marshal Feodor Haruta, deputy ataman of the URC Zakarpatie Regional Cossack Organizations, URC Lieutenant General Victor Golin were the guests of the Austrian partners during three September days.

During the celebrations in the city of Heldenberg tere were not only the Austrians, but also representatives of the similar organizations from Liechtenstein, France, Italy and other countries. Victor Golin, representative of the Zakarpatie Cossack delegation, greeted all guests in German and received a storm of applause.

After celebrations participants sincerely thanked for the special badges presented by Cossacks with an emblem of Registered Cossacks.

The official document which certificates the further cooperation between the UPO URC Zakarpatie Cossack Organization and the Austrian veteran organization “Field marshal Radetsky” is the signed Universal. It was signed by honorary member of a high council of Government Alfred Roizinger and the head of the organisation Alexander Rittera from association “Field marshal Radetsky”, heads of the URC Hetman’s administration in the Zakarpatie Region Feodor Haruta and ataman of the URC Zakarpatie Regional Cossack Organization Evgenie Turlakov from the Zakarpatie Regional Cossack Organization. Parade of the military divisions dressed in the form of different epoch became a special appeal. Next day Registered Cossacks from Zakarpatie received an invitation from the police administration of Steiermarkt and visited their professional feast in the city of Kappelen. The guests were amazed, first of all, with the high level of technical equipment and professional training of different divisions of fast reaction.

Next day Registered Cossacks from Zakarpatie received an invitation from the police administration of Steiermarkt and visited their professional feast in the city of Kappelen. The guests were amazed, first of all, with the high level of technical equipment and professional training of different divisions of fast reaction.

Unforgettable impression on Registered Cossacks made also the well-known temple-basil in Mariazell. During last two years this relic visited Universal patriarch Varfolomey І, Papa Benedikt ХVІ.

As Feodor Haruta said: “the past lays bridges in the future. Such experience exchange helps not only to realize a greatness of our historical heritage, but also to see new prospects of cooperation, to feel the participation in the European community”. In opinion of URC Lieutenant General Victor Golin, such events are “a good basis for the statement and development of “national diplomacy” and formation of a positive image of Ukraine”.
