On December 26 Donetsk regional state television celebrated its 50th anniversary. The studio began its activity in 1956. Today it is one of the largest television channels, which broadcasts not only in Donetsk, but in the whole region. The 27th television channel receives also on the territory of some districts of the neighboring regions.

A solemn party on the occasion of the Donetsk regional state television channel (DRSTC) jubilee took place in the Donetsk Academic theater of music and drama. Well-known social and political workers got together here to congratulate their native television channel on the anniversary. Among its fans were representatives of the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks the URC Bereguinya, the URC Colonel, pro-rector of the DonSIAI Valentina Furmanyuk, Ataman of the Donetsk region, Major-General of the URC, head of the department of Physical Culture of the DonSIAI Victor Stolyar, Inspector General of the URC, the URC Lieutenant-General, head of the juridical department of the DonSIAI Guennadi Domashenko. They came to the theater to show the signs of honor to the workers of Donetsk television for their immense work on spreading the ideas of spirituality, patriotism, traditions of the Ukrainian people among citizens of the Donetsk region, to thank thewm for the help in creating two "landing places" - spiritual and Cossack ones - the two broadcasts, which got together around the television screens and radio sets those who are not indifferent to the fate of Ukraine. They also came to the celebration to express hope of further fruitful cooperation.

As it is known, guests never come empty-handed, especially to a birthday party. On behalf of Hetman of the All-Ukrainian social organization "Ukrainian Registered Cossacks", Corresponding member of the NAS of Ukraine, Ph. Doctor of Science, Full Professor Anatoli Ivanovich Shevchenko the head of the State Committee of Television and Radio Broadcast of Ukraine Eduard Anatolievich Prutnik was awarded a sign of honor of the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks - order "Bronze Cossack Cross" of the III grade.

But that was not the end of the solemn events. The URC Hetman Adviser on problems of television and radio broadcast and on problems of links with the society Colonel of the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks Aleksandr Sergueevich Bashun received a next following Cossack rank of Major-General of the URC.

The ranks of the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks have been reinforced. From now on Vladimir Petrovich Davymuka - director general deputy of the Donetsk regional state television and radio company- is going to be proud of the rank of a lieutenant-colonel of the Ukrainian Registered Cossacks. Yesterday this rank was conferred to Donetsk Regional Ataman Adviser on problems of ideology and education. Editor of the DRSTC Oksana Vasilievna Veter received the prost of Donetsk Regional Ataman adviser on problems of television and radio on broadcast and a military rank of captain.

The festive occasion was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
